I don't wanna be Jack :P

Hello friends, I have neglected my poor little space for a while right...so shoot me lol. My life for the past week has been too academic… I seriously need some fun! (Inspired by the cliche: 'all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy) I don't wanna be Jack lol... I definitely gonna watch movie tonight. I am ready to watch Krish3. YAY! It's winter. Even though I have a lot to do this winter I will try to relax. I promise to be chill this winter guys. There are so many things I want to do, like preparing for RCSE(Royal civil service examination), take a trip with my friends and Learn dzongkha.

cold weather makes me happy :)

 Anyways, I just wanted to comment on the cold weather and why it makes me happy. The reasons are:
1. I like looking fashionable in nice pink scarf.

2. I actually like the formal uniform and for some reason winter feel like an appropriate time to wear it every day.

3. I get opportunity to wear fashionable coats.

4. The crispy air makes me feel awake and lively.

5. View of snow on the mountain top.
6. Sitting in front of heater with snacks.

Winter is the best season that I love the most. Hey winter reminds something, this winter will be unusual for me as I will do away with my studies and get into real field. Surely it will be a bitter sweet moment for me.

Bitter because; as the year comes to a close I've been thinking about my senior year and then going off from college. I finally realized what this will mean for my friendships. Most of my friends will be leaving college.

They say, FRIENDS of schooling days are those who you can never forget… If Life was good at Dagana, you were one of the leading reasons behind it… If life was beautiful at Damphu you were the biggest reason to me. If life was fun here at Paro College you were the main reason behind it.  I know I haven’t nurtured our friendship enough..but U are an irreplaceable part of my life.. from running away from the hostel during lunch break, to sharing every little pocket money we had, eating chillis,  talking late nights , making fun of others (haha I remember Compound eye and chara”)by locking the room, do you remember how fan we are to

watch the action movies of Jet Li? We used to run from hostel and watch the movies. Eating marie biscuits without chewing during study hours. Dancing to our little secrets… too small to all the mischievous things we did , haha and those horlicks during exam times, nothing hidden between us.. I won’t say time changed, nor u or me… Maybe those moments were to be remembered like I did today and smile at every moment we lived life was so much fun being with u… As I look back now, those two girls sitting on the first bench..have lost within us… I would never really thank you for what u have given me in my life.. you are part of my heart.. Love u loads...I wish I could go back in time and live those moments again…

 I will miss you terribly and I can't help but to think with dread that our close-knit relationships will disintegrate and I really don't want that to happen. I understand that we might grow a part a little; it's only natural when people don't see each other for a while their relationships aren't quite as close. However, I'm definitely not ready to give up my family in the form of friends. So, a shout out to my friend...I love you and we have to keep in touch!

I know it's kind of awkward when I say Happy Graduation coz we still got a month to be in the college with lot of academic works due...hehe! Still then, Happy Graduation cum Coronation cum College Foundation Day!!! lol

Let's have a whale of fun!!!!

The event was graced by the presence of chief guest Dr.Jagar Dorji, current Director General Tubten Jamtsho along with the faculty members, the staff and students teacher... The mood of the auditorium was then set by the cultural performances by student-teacher, certificate award ceremony for the graduating students.  By then the atmosphere was filled with joy and exhilaration...

Its my graduating day L !!

Today is the day that I've been waiting for since March 20^th , 2010.  <-- the day I started college...
Well it has been 4 years and I literally cannot believe it.  Life goes so fast hm? Today is the day that I become an adult....first off, that sounds like death just waiting to happen.

But seriously, I am excited to graduate from Paro College. It has been a fun four years and I have seen many changes within me during these years.
College is a time where we grow and become who we really want to be in our life.

 In the past, when I saw graduating students walking around the campus and taking photos, I was filled with admiration and hope I could be one of them one day. However, when it was happening to me, I was surprised that I was not as excited as I expected and even felt a bit sad. It seemed that it was yesterday that I first arrived at College but now it was time for me to leave this lovely place. L Worry not asI mentioned earlier we still got a month to be in the college with lot of academic works due. I will use this short period of time rightly...

Today is also the day which is very special for us, November 1^st is the day Where his majestry the Fourth King of Bhutan, the father of present king abdicated the throne to HM the king Jigme Gesar Namgyal Wangchuk... It is a national holiday in Bhutan. Each year majestic celebration is expected to continue across the country. 

As Bhutan celebrates the 5^th Coronation Day of His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, I would like to join the nation and offer my heartfelt felicitations to Your Majesty for your love, compassion and kindness. May Bhutan experience further peace and happiness under your kind and wise leadership.

Happy Birthday ParoCollege :P...

It was another milestone for the Paro college of Education to be observed its 37th Foundation Day. As per the history, Paro college began as a teacher's training center (TTC) for pre-school care, which was formally inaugurated on 1^st November 1975, with 15 trainess and a demonstration school at the Rinpung Campus.  DG Thubten Jamtsho is the present director of the mother college.

Study tour.

It has definitely been a while since my last entry, and I should probably stop procrastinating so much on blogging about my whereabouts and travels. As much as I tell myself that I have no time, I definitely do judging by the amount of the assignment that I do in hostel, or the amount of time I spend on face book. Oh the wonders of the modern world LOL...

Now times comes for the study tour, we had a choice of going to  either Phuntsholing or Samtse however, due to few reasons like, it is expensive for the college to send 27 of us and our exam is very near to door  so,  we are forced to cancel that place and the college made mandatory to opt for the nearest place. So we preferred to go to the National Soil Services Centre located in Simtokha.

We started our journey exactly at 7:45 Am. We were provided the bus by college and ma’am Hari(Chemistry tutor) accompanied our class to reach us to the soil centre. Well in the bus, honestly I didn’t sleep! Because everyone just having fun and making a loudness sounds, we made own "Bus concert", own "Standing Party" and own "Stand Up Comedy" for seriously like OMG LOL. I already enjoyed the situation and the condition.

We took around one hour fifteen minutes to reach our destiny.

We entered conference hall by 9:45 in the morning.

The great thing about these study tours- aside from the endless mandatory sketching- there were presentation from various units.

We were briefed to the general introduction of the centre  by the program director. The soil centre were scattered into four units if I have not mistaken lol (Soil Survey Unit, Soil Microbiology Unit, Soil Fertility Unit and Soil and Plant Analytical Laboratory unit). All the units were headed by different peoples. We were there in the soil centre unit for around two hours and we made it to the restaurant for lunch. We actually beat the large group, which resulted in the restaurant telling us that there was no enough food for this large number of students… Hehe however we made it in the end.  After that by 2:20PM we headed towards the Department of Geology and Mines which is located in the heart of  Thimphu city.

 I'll make this post more of a photo journal, since I don't want to be over-wordy with my entry. 

Long story short, finally we moved towards the Buddha point. Uffs very windy and cold place…really I was freeze to ice... We headed college at six in the evening.

This beautiful Buddha stands at the top of a hill above Thimphu. There is still earthwork going on - and the base of the statue is being finished, so we werent able to go right to the edge to enjoy the view - It was awesome!

The staff of NSSC were very wel coming....They entertained us with snaks and tea... we enjoyed!!

Baza guru Dungdrup in PCE.

Yesterday on 26^th  of October  was the Lhabab Duechen or Descending Day of Lord Buddha. It has been declared a national holiday by the government.

Lhabab Duechen is generally seen by the Bhutanese to a be very religious day for dedicating oneself towards virtuous deeds. The benefits are multifold for every good deed on this day. Almost all Bhutanese find a way to break away from normal life and dedicate themselves towards the spiritual on Lhabab Duechen. Monastries, dzongs and dratshangs around the country are flooded with devotees. 

 I being a follower I attended the Baza guru Dungdrup in the college and was organized by the college on 26th October 2013 to mark the descending day of lord Buddha from Thirty Third Heaven. This was the fourth round of Baza guru Dungdrup I attended in the college. This time the program was presided by His Eminence Khen Chen Katayana.

The chanting of Baza guru Dungdrup started from 7 AM sharp in the morning and prolonged till 7 PM. The main purpose of Baza guru Dungdrup is for the well being of the country and all the sentient beings. The participants were entertained with refreshment and lunch.

The program came to an end with some traditional dances by the cultural members of the college and wang ceremony to the attendants by Rinpochoe.

Writng iz fun!!

Today I attended the writers workshop organized by the literary committee members. Today’s conference inspired me to write more. Though, I am not a good writer as I used to be very poor in language during my schools days and not to mention in my college days as well. So, I wanted to bring in the improvement within me, however I remained same. To be honest about myself I even cannot frame a proper sentence putting simple words.  I believed and am sure that the words that I write were all in dictionary. only things is to arrange in a logical manner. Poor me even cannot do that. Writing is the feeling where we can share without the restriction of others. We have freedom to fly our writings. Few people enjoy writing so much that they do it just for fun, similar to me I blog for fun… Sometimes an event or an object inspires me to sit down and write. Without any sense of audience or purpose. Dear readers, I am really sorry that I couldn’t bring you all a quality articles at this juncture. However,  I already mentioned you that I blog for fun right LOL… and  its nothing professional, it’s all my scribbles and I could see the increase in page viewers every day. This brings smiles on my face. Visit my blog and leave me a comment so that will bring improvement in it. Really writing is tuff job than speaking as; while we are speaking we don’t have to put the sentences in a logical order; however when it comes to writing everything we expressed should be in a logical order with proper sentences.
